Sarah founded Olive Education after 14 years of teaching experience to provide the kind of personalised support that helps children rediscover their love of learning.

Meet Sarah
I'm Sarah - the founder of Olive Education. With 14 years teaching experience, I've been lucky enough to teach across all of KS2, spending the majority of my time in Year 6. I absolutely love teaching maths, reading and writing, and can't wait to continue teaching these subjects for Olive Education.
My teaching style is positive, supportive and nurturing. I tailor my approach to each child's interests, use plenty of humour, and believe in building strong, trusting relationships that help children thrive.
Outside of the classroom, I'm a proud mum to an incredible boy who is autistic and non-speaking. He's completely transformed the way I see education, and deepened my passion for supporting every child's unique journey.
Small group tutoring
Children learn so much from one another. In a small, supportive group, they hear different ways of thinking, explain their ideas out loud and build confidence together.
Each child still receives plenty of individual support and guidance, but they also benefit from the motivation, discussion and sense of community that comes from learning alongside peers.

The outcome
Children leave Olive Education feeling confident, capable and proud of how far they have come in their learning journey. They make measurable academic progress, but more importantly, they rediscover a love of learning, build self-belief, and develop skills to thrive both in and beyond the classroom.
